Former Tasmanian MP Simon Behrakis, starts new chapter partnering with multi-disciplinary consultancy firm The Advisory

Media Release

Former Liberal Member of Parliament, Simon Behrakis, has partnered with The Advisory, a corporate consultancy firm helping both national and Tasmanian organisations navigate complex commercial and regulatory issues. Bringing together government, finance, strategy, development and technology capability, The Advisory provides clear advice, practical execution and measurable results.

Mr Behrakis brings with him his expertise in both state and local government, stakeholder management and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

“Partnering with the rest of the team at The Advisory represents an exciting opportunity as I step away from political life. With my partner and I expecting the delivery of our first child, this marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life,” Mr Behrakis said.

“I’m joining a fantastic team with a lot of expertise in their fields, and I’m very much looking forward to continuing to help Tasmanians, and those wanting to invest in Tasmania, navigate whatever obstacles are in their way and engage with Governments,” he said.

Our team has a diverse range of experience and knowledge guaranteeing we can assist in ensuring our clients are able to deliver on their objectives regardless of the obstacle, from financing and project delivery to navigating government and complex regulation.

The Advisory partners with clients from early scoping through delivery, staying engaged as their needs evolve. The firm’s multidisciplinary approach is designed to progress investment, accelerate approvals, de-risk execution and support Tasmanian jobs and growth, whether it’s an investment decision, approvals pathway or technology uplift.
